The humanitarian crisis in Sudan and South Sudan is catastrophic. Since the outbreak of war in Sudan on April 23rd last year, over 15 million people have been displaced, with several million fleeing to South Sudan. Among them are over 2 million South Sudanese who had been living in Sudan. This influx of returnees has exacerbated an already dire situation, with 80% of the country struggling with insufficient food and basic medical facilities. This has led to the world's worst humanitarian crisis in recorded history.
We've done the bare minimum to help those dying from hunger and treatable diseases. People are currently dying along the border while others fight for survival. We need to contribute to their livelihoods. Our goal is to provide food, establish basic health clinics, and supply vital necessities like water, hygiene essentials, shelter, and medical aid. However, the situation is deteriorating, and we are currently unable to do more to help.
Our past contributions have aided a few families, but many continue to struggle day by day. We're heartbroken and feeling powerless to provide assistance. Please help in any way you can so that we can provide food, water, sanitation, and basic necessities.
This is where your generosity can truly shine. Your donations have the power to make a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by this crisis.
